Tonight we had a quick date night at a new pizza restaurant in our favorite part of town. They have a cozy and comfortable dining area, spacious bar, and an awesome special of Pint & Slice for $5. We tried their daily special slice (Spicy Meatball) plus Dough Bois appetizer, and finished with cheesecake. It was all delicioso! (Our 2nd visit, we had the fried ravioli and Philly and pepperoni pizzas, also delicious. Our 3rd visit was Backyard BBQ pizza and blueberry bread….both sinfully yummy!)
Pizza Bros now has a 2nd location on the Southside, just blocks from my former job! I had the special (the Salami Slammer, I think) and it was awesome; my sorority mentee had their famous pepperoni. This really unique building was vacant when I worked in the area, and it was great to see it busy and useful again.
