Being on the older end of the GenX spectrum, hubby and I remember the days before the launch of MTV. Music videos were still a new medium, but more and more artists were creating them; so NBC began showing them on Friday Nights, calling them (duh) Friday Night Videos. In a burst of nostalgia, I planned an evening for us involving pan pizza, Ruffles with French onion dip, and classic sodas and candies while watching videos of the 80s. It was a great way to end a long and hot first week of summer.
