Barbeque Meatballs

These are a tailgating staple here in the South. Hubby’s coworkers request his version nearly every time they have a potluck. This is my version.

  • 2 bags frozen homestyle meatballs (not Italian)
  • 1 cup smoky barbeque sauce (I prefer Sweet Baby Ray’s)*
  • 1 tsp minced or crushed garlic

Place all ingredients in large slow cooker and heat until hot. Enjoy!

*For homemade sauce, use 3/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2 tbsp molasses, 1 tsp dried mustard, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp Liquid Smoke.

They were a big hit at a tailgating party at my work!
