For a change, we decided to have an afternoon date. On our way to the Arena to cheer on the local basketball team (my Alma mater), we went to The Boathouse Rotisserie and Raw Bar for a late lunch. This spot by the river used to be The Sand Bar, a popular hangout when I was in college. We had delicious catfish (me) and pork (him) sandwiches, olive oil fries, and and amaretto brownie, and enjoyed spectacular views of the Head of the Hooch rowing competition. I even wore my new UTC Mocs poncho for the occasion!
