“OG” Fettuccine Alfredo

This is not official, or even exact; but it is darn tasty and stupid easy ❤️🤍💚

  • 12 oz fettuccine or linguine noodles, cooked all dente and drained
  • 1 stick butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder or 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups shaved or grated Parmesan (not the “green can”) – 1 5 oz container
  • Very finely ground black pepper to taste

Heat all ingredients except Parmesan at a simmer until incorporated and fragrant, stirring often. Remove from heat and whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Serve over noodles.

I served this with seared scallops. Delicioso!
This also worked well with rigatoni and baby scallops!
