Today was an extra-special “double payday,” meaning my hubby (who’s an every-other week payee) and I (an every week payee) both got paid, and it was the fifth Friday of the month (so some of our payroll deductions didn’t have to come out). So in addition to paying down some debt, we decided to do a special date night at a nice Italian restaurant that was new to us. Giardino sits on the side of a ridge with a lovely view of downtown and the mountains. I had the Chicken Alfredo (over papardelle, one of my favorite pastas), and hubby had Nona’s Meatballs with spaghetti. Both were excellent!
