Cheddar Garlic Biscuits

So good. So easy. So gone.

To make 4:

  • 1 cup baking mix (like Bisquick)
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder + 1/2 tsp dried parsley, or 1 tsp Italian seasoning mix
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Mix together all ingredients except butter. Drop desired size biscuits onto baking sheet or stone. Bake at 400 degrees until done (about 10 minutes). Melt butter in small bowl in microwave (can add another dash of garlic powder if desired). Brush on top as soon as you remove from oven. Let sit 5 minutes or so before devouring. Double, triple, or quadruple recipe as needed.
