French Onion Rice

  • 1 ½ cups brown rice
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 ¼ cups water

Spray square baking dish with cooking spray. Add rice and soup mix; stir together. Slice butter and lay on top. Boil water and measure 2 ¼ cups exactly; pour into dish, stir and cover with foil. Bake 425 degrees for 1 hour; remove foil and stir before serving.
