The Soup Diva

Tonight, we met up with some friends (who are in town for my 50th birthday party tomorrow) for dinner at Bela Lisboa, a new Portuguese restaurant on the Northshore, our favorite part of town. The atmosphere was light but cozy, and the food was flavorful and delicious. We devoured mussels, and both hummus and fig goat cheese with toast rounds, before anybody remembered to take photos. Kenn had the Fruits of the Sea skewer, while Lori had chicken and seafood paella; hubby had pork and clams with potatoes and rice, and I enjoyed the Fruits of the Sea with salmon and potatoes in lobster tomato sauce. We also shared a slice of coffee toffee peanut butter pie and a slice of lemon cream pie. We left stuffed!
