I love that my home town is really becoming a “foodie” destination. Several food and travel shows have filmed episodes here, including Cooking Channel’s “Southern and Hungry.” One stop they made was Main Street Meats, a butcher shop/restaurant/bar that focuses on — you guessed it — locally sourced fresh meats. I enjoyed a juicy burger while hubby had a delicious Cubano, and we shared some fresh-cut sliced fries. We intend to come back soon!
