The Soup Diva

During the 4 years we lived in Murfreesboro, one of our favorite restaurants was Demos.’ This institution has weathered massive growth in the Boro and seen change all around it, yet it remains unchanged from without and not much inside. Coming home from my stamping retreat this year, I stopped to have lunch there with my dear friend and Murfreesboro Mom, Kaye. I discovered a dish that is a longtime staple, yet one I had never tried: spaghetti with brown butter sauce and mushrooms. It was delish! I did enjoy their classic baked chicken and rice soup and cheese rolls as well, and they were as wonderful as the last time I had them over 10 years ago.
