Today is the final day of a 4-day holiday weekend, and the first day in a while we haven’t been needed to help with the in-laws’ recent move. So we took the opportunity to go to brunch at The Flying Squirrel, a local bar that has been on our “to-dine” list for a while, before hitting a matinee of the new Spiderman movie. My “Luther” brunch burger with spiced roasted potatoes and cold brew coffee were excellent, as was hubby’s roasted potato hash with corned beef (one of his favorite dishes for breakfast). I am already ready to come back and try the shrimp & grits!
