Super Chip Dip

  • 2 cups sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives or scallions
  • 1 tbsp dried dill (or other herb if preferred; basil works well)
  • 2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • salt if needed

Stir together until combined. Taste and add salt if needed (the Montreal seasoning does contain some salt). Chill until ready to serve. This was created for a rare at-home Super Bowl night (served with kettle chips, Kansas City barbeque on San Francisco sourdough bread, and football-themed shortbread cookies!)
