Okay, this might be “the one.” I’ve posted oh-so-many times about my quest to make biscuits that are delicious, tender, and fairly uncomplicated; these hit all the marks. Try them yourself!
- 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp sugar
Melt butter and stir in sour cream/yogurt and sugar. Add flour until dough is soft but not sticky. Form into balls and arrange in cast-iron skillet or pie pan coated with cooking spray (press each ball to flatten top if desired). Bake at 425⁰ for 10-12 minutes. These biscuits will keep and reheat well.
