For the past several years, we have chosen to eat out for lunch on New Year’s Eve, and return home well before dark to ring in the new year. This year, since the 31st is a Sunday, we decided to have brunch (possibly our favorite mealtime). A new restaurant opened a few weeks ago, and I noticed on their Facebook that they serve weekend brunch. Score! The Mayan Kitchen was elegant, quiet, and absolutely delicious. We will return soon!
