Poblano’s is our favorite local Mexican restaurant. Their food is fresh and tasty, and they often have specials on a local website and/or on Groupon, making it even more appealing. We decided to go tonight before looking at the lights (and playing some Pokemon Go) at nearby Coolidge Park.
Caribbean Shrimp Chowder, the best chowder I’ve ever eaten, anywhere.
Longhorn Quesadilla, a Tex-Mex dish with beer-braised chicken, black beans, Mexican corn, and cheese.
Chicken Mole, hubby’s favorite dish.
Flan, a deceptively simple custard and sweet sauce masterpiece.
Coolidge Park Christmas tree, showing the Walnut Street Bridge in the background, a pedestrian bridge where we had our first kiss back in 1998.
