In our city, we have a delightfully diverse cultural population, leading to a wide variety of ethnic restaurants. However, Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants far outnumber all others, many of which are very authentic. Below is a sampling of some of our favorites (not including Poblano’s, our top favorite, which has its own blog post!)
Chicken enchiladas from Delia’s
Taco salad from Fiesta Mexicana
Chicken chimichanga from Las Margaritas
Fish tacos from La Altena
Chicken chimichanga from Las Morelianas
Tilapia veracruz from Abuelo’s
Lobster and shrimp enchiladas from Big River Grille and Brewing Works
Combination platter from El Metate
Barbeque nachos from Mojo Burrito
Cancun Special from Cancun Mexican Restaurant and Cantina
Mexican street taco con pollo and poblano pupusa from Tacqueria Jalisco
Enchiladas Ranchero from El Maguey
Tortilla Bowl from Mr Burrito Grill
Steak, shrimp, and fish tacos from Taco Town

My hometown of Chattanooga has some great ethnic places to eat but Mexican/Latin is by far the most popular. Lots of good stuff!

I thought I had been following you but I saw a note that said Tony got you a new blog with WordPress as you had been with Tumblr. Hey, chronic pain and insomnia can really play havoc on the mind. LOL! Anyway, I love your recipes!
