The Soup Diva

We are about 6 months late to the party, but we have finally discovered the surprising awesomeness of the Netflix movie Kpop Demon Hunters, with its beautiful animation and music and solid storytelling [I called it “a cross between Into the Spider-verse, Turning Red, and Charmed“]. Tonight we are watching it for the 3rd time in a week, and we ordered some Korean street foods seen in the movie from local restaurant On the Rice. This is a fun “deep dive” into learning about and experiencing another culture. (And yes, we are in our baggiest lounge clothes and we chanted “couch, couch, couch!” before sitting down to watch and eat. #IYKYK)
