- 2 tbsp butter or coconut oil
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup milk (any type – I used oat milk)
- pinch of salt
- your choice of toppings — brown sugar, honey, peanut butter, nuts, cinnamon, etc
Melt butter or oil in pot on Saute; add oats. Stir constantly until the oats have absorbed all the fat and appear dry again, about 3 minutes. Cancel Saute, add water, milk, and salt, stir and apply lid. Set to Pressure cook (high) for 3 minutes. When complete, do instant release and stir oats well. Serve with your choice of toppings. This recipe makes 2 large or 3 average servings; double or triple as needed.
